Erin of Dandelion and Grey created this fabulous rustic dinner party as part of her 'At My Table' series. Erin was inspired by local farmer's markets and fresh ingredients when styling this delicious dinner.
Erin set the scene of the dinner party in her own dinning room. She set her french provincial white table with antique cutlery, pretty napkins, wooden placemats and beautiful ceramic dinner plates. As a homely and clever alternative to flowers, Erin used fresh potted herbs to decorate the table. The dinner table was set under a gallery wall of painted vintage empty frames.
Her home cooked menu began with a spinach ravioli with sage butter sauce, using fresh sage and rosemary from her own garden. The creamy ravioli was paired with a loaf of fresh bread and rosemary butter sitting on top a wooden cutting board.
For dessert Erin baked yummy lavender vanilla cupcakes with a sprig of lavender for decoration and a super sweet 'enjoy flag'. On top a white chest of drawers she also created a small tea bar to accompany dessert.
Such a thoughtful idea for guest favours... a collection of inspiring cookbooks for guests to take with them sat on white farmers chairs and under a handmade garland of botanical cards.
